With a strong career across operational, IT and consulting roles in financial services, our CEO, Carol Penhale, saw a growing need for independent advice for financial firms engaged in business migration. BPA's perspective is anchored in strong domain knowledge of business, operational and technology challenges to reduce adoption and migration risk associated with many wide-scale operational, systems, and infrastructure initiatives.

Carol established BPA to align the initiatives between business and technology, to optimize synergies across them and to ensure operational and system adoptions were effective in meeting future business needs.

Carol and her colleagues have on average have more than 20 years of experience in financial services in business, operational and technology roles in North America, EMEA and/or LATAM operational and corporate culture envionments.

With experience buy-side, sell-side and/or other financial services type firms and vendors to the financial sector in business, technology and consulting roles, Carol and her team leverage in-depth experience in business and technology roles as well as broad comprehensive peer knowledge with exposure to many types of financial services firms to ensure change helps keeps firms competitve going forward and migration planning is cohesive on an end-to-end basis across technology, data and operations.

With a broad career history across financial services in local and global markets and other industries for comprehensive general business and entrepreneurial knowledge, Carol has issued many thought leadership papers and is a compelling and sought-after speaker on industry issues.

Prior to establishing BPA, Carol was a founding partner at Cutter Associates where in additional to assisting the growth of the firm in the US and UK for consulting, research and benchmarking she headed the Canadian practice as well. Additional experience in full-time roles include Broadridge Financial, Mackenzie Investments and DST Systems.

Ms. Penhale is a graduate of the University of Toronto, the University of Edinburgh and the Institute for Computer Studies.
